Wow, last week’s SD Startup Month content was hot! We named 10 young companies to the first virtual SDSM incubator, Techstars led a series of great talks, Tag-n-Trac won the Inventors & Investors Pitch Comp, and there were so many more great talks. Remember, all of them were recorded and can be replayed with your ticket. The talent incubator is coming up and we’d love to help you or your friend find that job and for your company to participate. #SDSM2020
Let’s also not forget what else is happening in the community, like unicorn Seismic becoming a further unicorn with a $92M raised on a $1.6B valuation. Also, Illumina ($50B market cap) acquired its own spinout, Grail, for $8B. Have you heard of that diabetes tech juggernaut Dexcom (market cap $40B)? We have co-founder John Burd on the Tacos & Tech Podcast this week. SD’s diabetes tech density continues to heat up. Listen in about how it started.
