Village Up Initiative to Understand the Diversity of Founders in San Diego

by Neal Bloom

With a lack of understanding of what demographics make up San Diego startup founders, the Village Up Initiative has created a survey for San Diego founders to complete.

Village Up is a collaborative initiative to increase diversity and access to the San Diego startup tech ecosystem. This survey will gather information about the entrepreneur community in San Diego, and identify existing barriers to entrepreneurship and talent recruitment from diverse communities (e.g., gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, physical and mental health, etc.) to develop pathways for equitable opportunities in the innovation economy and startup industry.” These findings will be presented in an annual diversity tech report.

Help the Village Up initiative diversify the San Diego community by filling out the survey here.
