San Diego’s “Sunshine Tax” – 3/19/19

by Neal Bloom
Spring is definitely here and San Diego’s “sunshine tax” is finally starting to pay off this year. Along with the crazy butterfly migration , we also have some new companies coming to San Diego includingComma.ai , a venture-backed startup moving from SF, Kyriba is moving back from NY to San Diego, and Apple is increasing the size of its new office to at least 1,200. Welcome home!
We are also excited for investor Silvia Mah to join as President of startup resource CONNECT to help early stage companies with their validation and traction. Congratulations are also in order to Aquacycl for winning the $200,000 grand prize of the San Diego Angel Investor Conference.
It’s only March and it has already been an incredibly productive year here in San Diego!
