San Diego’s Flock Freight Named in CNBC’s Disruptor 50

Solana Beach-based Flock Freight was named number 42 on CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list. With $184 million in funding and a $500 million valuation, they are in a good position to foster sustainability and efficiency in the freight industry. 

Flock Freight is focused on reducing carbon emissions of transportation by using its cloud computing technology to combine shipments of various companies. With their freight ‘carpooling’ they reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 40%. Read the full article here
