Happy new decade! Ten years ago, I was living in LA and working on the Space Shuttle, and now my team and I are helping to build startup ecosystems. Along those lines, you may not know everything our Fresh Brewed Tech team is up to. Behind the scenes of this media company is a team that is writing lots of original content and distributing it via our newsletters, including our OC tech news. Stay tuned for new ecosystems to be added in the coming year. Our greater parent company is called Rising Tide Partners (RTP), which gained a lot of business in 2019 by helping city governments and companies with content marketing strategies, much like this newsletter and original content. You can also expect to see more from RTP as we start building out our own brand and broaden our coverage of vibrant ecosystems.

Specifically for Fresh Brewed Tech, we were busy during the holidays. Today, we are excited to launch season three of the Tacos & Tech Podcast, including a brand new theme song by School of Rap (Ashok Kamal & Miguel Hart); we plan to release a new episode every week! We are also continuing our Home Brew series, showcasing creative spaces innovative companies call home. Later this month, we plan to unveil the next SD Tech Mafia series on HNC, the OG company that helped put San Diego on the analytics map.
